Among the 76 states , which have enriched flour with iron and folic acid , is now Kosovo . To realize this process , affecting the preservation of public health and prevention of various diseases , the Ministry of Agriculture has drafted the Law on flour fortification with iron and folic acid , which has started to be implemented even before six months . The results for zbatueshmëirnë control of this law , show that flour enriched with these two substances is already being sold in the Kosovo market .
This was made known today in a press conference on the implementation of the project for flour fortification with folic acid and iron .Minister of Agriculture , Blerand Stavileci estimated that projects of this nature , which are aimed at raising the standard of living and serving a human and economic vitality , should have as much in our country . "Public health and quality of life of our residents is most important and this can be achieved in various ways and forms , where one of these that we have chosen , for which we have insisted and that is very well received by others is the enrichment of flour , because we know that these two components , iron and folic acid are extremely important in the prevention of many diseases , "said Stavileci .And according to Deputy Health ShemsiVeseli, commitment to the health of the population , in this case, pregnant mothers and children represents a key priority for the ministry.
